Pillow & Pot

This is the time of year when winter seems to draaaagg on forever.  Things have been feeling blah- stuck in the house all day with kids.  So, I was excited to pick up this new green ruffle pillow and green ceramic pot at a local discount store!  Finally, something to smile about.  (note: these pictures were shot so as NOT to reveal the catastrophe of kids toys strewn about my bedroom- ha!)

Sunshine on a Rainy Day

A winter wonderland of snow is wonderful.  A winter of gray drizzle and slush is not.  Today I found a bit of "sunshine" in my patent leather red Danskos and my new french press that Jona brought home from his morning walk (thanks babe!).  One must find ways to make it through the long winter (can you tell I was raised in California?!).
 

Green Pear Photo

Green Pear Photo is my new photo business featuring my "still life" shots.  The photos are paired then mounted on sustainable bamboo boards (hence the name- "green pear").  For years I only shot B&W film so I find it amusing that my work has evolved into these vividly colored pieces.  I'm excited to see where this leads...
